Posted December 15, 2019 08:22:17 A new trend for Australian women is to wear a pink or purple style clothing line, the latest in a series of bold and daring fashion choices.

With the likes of the popular fashion label T-shirts and T-shirts, and the recently launched line from Victoria’s Victoria’s Secret, there is a strong push to make the world a pinker place.

For a start, the lines often feature an animal character, with the animals often sporting pink or pink-coloured clothes, or even sporting the pink-based colour scheme of the line’s signature colour: pink.

“It’s really about creating a space where women feel empowered and feel safe,” said Victoria’s assistant chief executive, Cathy Lacey.

“I think it’s really important that women have this space to feel empowered, and feel like they can express themselves.”

And the fashionistas don’t stop there.

A growing number of brands have also started to feature the colours pink, including T-shirt brand Nastygirl and the lingerie company Stella McCartney, which is a collaboration with fashion designer Yvonne LaFrance.

In fact, the pink clothing line was featured on the cover of the latest issue of Vogue magazine, which was released in January.

The fashionistas are also working to make sure the pink and purple colour scheme is not limited to the retail industry.

“The idea behind this was to show that it’s OK for women to be feminine, and that we don’t have to hide our sexuality,” said Ms Lacey.

“And it’s about showing that it doesn’t matter what colour we are.

It’s not about us being embarrassed about it, it’s not something that we need to hide.”
